[MAGE]
Mages specialize in the casting of spells, offensive ones in particular.
Mages have the highest-powered magic of any class, and are the only classes
able to use the draconian and enchanting spell groups. They are also veryB
skilled at the use of magical items, though their combat skills are the
weakest of any class.
[CLERIC]
Clerics are the most defensively orientated of all the classes. Most of their
spells focus on healing or defending the faithful, with their few combat spells
being far less powerful than those of mages. However, clerics are the best
class by far at healing magics, and they posess an impressive area of
protective magics, as well as fair combat prowess.
[THIEF]
Thieves are a marginal class. They do few things better than any other class,
but have the widest range of skills available. Thieves are specialists at
thievery and covert actions, being capable of entering areas undetected where
more powerful adventurers would fear to tread. They are better fighters than
clerics, but lack the wide weapon selection of warriors.
[WARRIOR]
Warriors live for combat and the thrill of battle. They are the best fighters
of all the classes, but lack the subtle skills of thieves and the magical
talents of mages and priests. Warriors are best for those who don't mind
taking the direct approach, even when another method might be called for.
[PALADIN]
Paladins are the holy warriors of the realm. They have a combination of the
fighting skills of a warrior, and the magic of clerics. They fight for good,
and are well-respected. Paladins must maintain a non-evil alignment or they
will be reverted to plain warriors.
[DRUID]
Druids are the priests of nature. Druids tend to be neutral, and are usually
solitary. They have skills of various magic skills, based on the powers of
nature. They do not make the best fighters, even less skilled in combat than
the cleric class. They also do not posses the unnatural powers of the magi.
[DAGASHI]
Dagashi are a combination of the skills of a thief with the magic knowledge of a
mage. They are a powerful class, and as a consequence, take longer to rise in
level. They are not as skilled in combat as a warrior, but they can hold their
own and retain the skills of the magi.
[TELMIN]
The telmin class combines the skills of a thief with the magic and abilities of
the cleric class. They are descent in battle, and have many uses. They are not
as combat oriented as warriors, but they have a combination of skills that makes
them particularly valuable. They are also more difficult to raise in level due
to their high number of spells and skills.
[DEATH KNIGHT]
Combining the strength of the warrior with some magic skill of the mage, this
class is feared throughout the realm. Though they do not possess the full range
of spells as a mage, they are skilled in combat, and become dangerous when magic
is added to their attacks. Because of their combined skills, they take longer
to raise in level.
[ASSASSIN]
Assassins are self-oriented individuals. They are decent fighters, but also
have the skills of a thief, making them particularly dangerous adversaries.
Assassins are good for someone who is looking for a strong character, but a
challenging one as they level at a slower rate than their two parts.
